• Which fan(s) have failed and what is the current RPM reading?
• What are the current CPU temperatures for both sockets?
• Is the CPU frequency being throttled, and what is the current vs. nominal frequency?
• Are the remaining fans running at increased RPM to compensate?
• Is the server in a position where airflow could be obstructed (blanking panels missing, cable obstruction)?
• Can the fan be hot-swapped while the server is running?
• Is there a spare fan module available in the datacenter?
• What is the thermal shutdown threshold, and how close is the server to it?
• Should the workload be migrated before the fan is replaced?
• Has dust accumulation contributed to reduced cooling efficiency?
